POLISHING
Our polishing service aims to eliminate any marks and superficial stains on jewelry pieces to achieve a shining finish and make the piece look brand new.
To achieve this, we start with a black bristle brush and a special paste that allows us to remove any marks or signs of wear; then we use a cotton brush (softer) to apply a polishing paste, which will give us a mirror finish and rejuvenate the piece.
To remove any remnants of the pastes we have applied to the jewelry, we use an ultrasonic device, which creates vibration in water at the correct temperature, and special soaps.

ELECTROPLATING
At TOUS, we work with gold, rose gold, rhodium, ruthenium and silver platings.
These give the finish the tone that corresponds to each of the platings.
18KT GOLD PLATED
Our gold platings (yellow and rose) are 18
carats with a minimum thickness of 3 microns that provide the quality finish to the piece desired (in the case of restoration).
RHODIUM
Rhodium plating is mainly used on WHITE GOLD pieces to achieve a clearer and brighter finish.
We use unalloyed rhodium with a minimum thickness of 0.5 microns.
RUTHENIUM
Ruthenium allows us to give silver and/or white gold pieces a darkened finish. We use pure, unalloyed ruthenium with a minimum thickness of 0.2 microns.
SILVER PLATING
This gives a whiter and shinier finish to silver pieces, protecting them from tarnishing. We use pure, unalloyed silver with a minimum thickness of 10 microns.
CARE SERVICES
EXPRESS CLEANING SERVICE (QUICK SERVICE)
In our stores, we have ultrasonic cleaners, where we submerge
the piece to achieve deep cleansing.
After that, a process for removing tarnish is used, finishing up
with drying and polishing with a cloth. This service is
performed in our stores on the spot.
